So, I am back. Today is one of those days where I just ave no energy and want to spend it hunkered down indoors in a cosy hoodie.
I juts spent 1 hour deleting old emails, and I still have 8000 to go. Any suggestions? I find this gives me an utter headache and I am now drained and can’t focus on anything.
So far in 2023, I have continued with my writing a little and entered 2 important competitions which might help my new book on its way. So I have not been unproductive. But how do we all get our energy levels up during dark months? I try to keep up the exercise, so I have continued to swim, and I entered a walk 56 miles in February challenge to raise money for refuge (for people fleeing abusers). I walk this amount anyway, but I might as well convert it into something helpful.
Two other projects I will be embarking on this year are 25th January BOOK CLUB at David Lloyd – every 4th Wednesday.
POETRY AND PERFORMANCE workshop – ST Augustine’s community hall, February 18th .
And next week is the first read through of a play with Black and White Productions.
So – lots to do and look forward to.
I have a lot more to say about all these upcoming projects, but I will be talking about it again when I have bit more energy.
You can find me on insta: ginnb900 Facebook as Virginia C Betts, Virginia Betts author, The Dead Poets Theatre or Results Tutoring. I am also also on Twitter as @Resultsgin and most importantly Virginia C Betts on TikTok. So tune in to hear what I have to say.
I had a lovely Christmas and New Year party – and a birthday – so I am off to swim now and gather some oomph back for the month ahead.
See you later!
