Attic AttacK

It’s surprising what memories you can discover when your parents clear out their loft, and amazingly, they kept EVRYTHING – every drawing I did; every scrap of paper; the first book I ever wrote aged 3. All my toys! They are now museum pieces!

This little doll was won by my mum for naming it Virginia in the maternity home the day after my birth:

This postcard, of course is an iconic image of the 80’s 90’s, and there it is – now on my wall.

This game was found and has now been played. It is very rare, so I gifted it to my husband. It’s a great laugh and was banned so it’s hard to get now!

But there are so many things and as soon as I saw them I was back there!

Finally, here’s the first ‘book’ I ever wrote. I have talked about it a lot on the radio, and I now have this piece of history.
